Metal rolling is a technological operation of sheet material deformation along a direction for making ready work pieces and half-finished products with the purpose of further tooling.

Metal banding guarantees high accuracy of linear dimensions and angles. Modern equipment for "metal bending" provides high bending quality and exact repetition of successive bends, production of complex spatial parts. Roll-formed section has a range of advantages if compared to the welded one: absence of defects common for welds (hot and cold cracks, spills, pores, etc.), as well as absence of thermal influence and additional operations of weld treatment.
